Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Justin Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Angle kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Domination. Jack Silver will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Justin Angle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Silver! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silver misses with the combination.
Silver moves out of range of the strikes. Silver keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Angle scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Silver scores with a takedown into Angle's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silver decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Silver throws a series of punches but Angle avoids them all with ease. Silver listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Silver throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Silver takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Silver looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Silver misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Angle gets a clinch. Angle jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Silver walks away with a smile on his face. Angle gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Angle closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Silver did well to prevent Angle getting side control. Angle seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Angle throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silver keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Angle stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Silver to get to his feet. Some wild striking there from Angle.
Silver throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Angle. Silver closes the distance looking to clinch and Angle counters with a three punch combo that has Silver backing up. Silver nods at Angle to acknowledge the strikes. Angle throws a low kick but it's checked well by Silver. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Angle clinches up against the cage. Silver lands a left hand.

Silver defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Angle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Justin Angle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silver will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Angle dives in and grabs Silver's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silver pushes down on Angle's head and hops out. Jab, jab by Silver - just one landing. Silver misses with an uppercut. Silver takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. The fighters circling - Silver throws out the jab but it was never going to land. No joy there for Angle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fight stays on the outside here - Angle looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Silver avoids a punch combination nicely.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Angle showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Silver.
Angle lands a glancing blow to the side of Silver's head. Angle on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Justin Angle will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Silver jabbing away but nothing is landing. Silver closes the distance and pushes Angle back into the cage. Angle tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Silver just stands there and leans against the cage. Angle works on Silver's body with a couple of short punches. Angle is trying to break free. Silver lands a body punch in the clinch. Angle fails to pull guard.
Angle scores with a nice hook to the head. Silver tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Angle's elbow. Silver throws a punch but it's blocked by Angle. Silver manages to break the clinch.
Silver throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Angle looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silver is fending him off so far but Angle persists. Nope, Silver circles away and we're back to standing. Silver tries to avoid it but Angle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silver to the ground. Silver escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Silver fails to land with a series of punches.

Angle stands up and beckons Silver to join him on the feet. Angle throws a hook to the side of Silver's head but Silver sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Angle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Angle throws a right hand that Silver ducks under and follows up with a left that Silver also avoids with ease. Silver tries to clinch but Angle is having none of it. Silver swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Silver wants to stand but Angle has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Silver stops Angle from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Silver stands and steps away. Angle gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Angle scores with a jab to the head.
Silver wants to clinch but Angle slips to the side and Angle counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Angle seems to be looking for submissions.
Angle wants to stand but Silver has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Silver has one foot on Angle's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Silver might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Angle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silver's waist but Silver gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Angle off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Justin Angle. That's going to take a lot out of him. No joy there for Angle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Silver is fighting off a takedown attempt but Angle is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Silver to the mat. Silver regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Silver avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Silver wants to stand and escape but Angle is having none of it. Angle slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Angle throws an elbow but Silver slips to the side and avoids it well. Silver managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Angle.
Silver is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Silver keeps the fight on the outside. Silver throws a right and a left that Angle avoids nicely. Some wild striking there from Angle.
A combination from Silver does no damage. Angle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jack Silver has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Angle shoots in for a takedown but Silver shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Silver throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Angle counters with a single leg into guard. Silver didn't expect that. Angle loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Angle is looking to work some ground and pound but Silver has wrist control. Silver pushes Angle off and scrambles back to his feet.

and Angle counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silver won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Angle decides to stand back up. Silver stalks Angle and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Angle's face. Angle staggers backwards, shaken. Justin Angle is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Silver drops his hands momentarily and Angle takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Justin Angle showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Angle, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
