Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between adam henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dalern Hardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dalern Hardt was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hardt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by henderson.
henderson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

henderson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hardt gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
henderson controls Hardt momentarily but Hardt frees himself.

henderson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hardt is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Hardt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hardt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hardt is defended easily by henderson.

Hardt seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hardt is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
