Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jean Rokita! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Henrique Yamamoto! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rokita pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Yamamoto throws a right and a left that Rokita avoids nicely. Yamamoto tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rokita throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Yamamoto sees it coming and avoids it easily. Yamamoto rushes Rokita and presses him up against the cage. Yamamoto swings wildly with an uppercut but Rokita uses good head movement to avoid it. Yamamoto avoids a wild elbow strike from Rokita. Rokita wants to break the clinch but can't.
Rokita lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Rokita lands an elbow that stopped Yamamoto in his tracks for a moment. Rokita breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Yamamoto scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Rokita pushes Yamamoto away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Yamamoto gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Yamamoto is staying tight to Rokita's torso, preventing him from escaping. Rokita defending against the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yamamoto trying to control the action but Rokita is working from the bottom. Yamamoto throwing shots but missing, from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yamamoto tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Yamamoto has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Yamamoto tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Yamamoto trying to control the position but Rokita is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Yamamoto working the ground and pound but Rokita is defending the strikes. Yamamoto creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Rokita sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Yamamoto feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Yamamoto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Yamamoto looks gassed! Rokita wants to stand and escape but Yamamoto is having none of it. Yamamoto is working Rokita over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Rokita preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Yamamoto trying to control the position from guard on top but Rokita is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Yamamoto is looking to work some ground and pound but Rokita has wrist control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yamamoto throwing strikes but missing. Yamamoto stands up and waves to Rokita to follow him. Yamamoto uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rokita. Rokita slips a jab and a cross from Yamamoto.
Yamamoto needs to keep his hands up - Rokita had a free shot at his head there. Rokita catches Yamamoto napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Yamamoto to the canvas!
Rokita would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rokita stopping the sweep attempt from Yamamoto. Rokita wants to get up but he can't break Yamamoto's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Yamamoto has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Rokita off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Yamamoto swinging wildly here.
Rokita bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rokita throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Yamamoto tumbling to the canvas!
Yamamoto is rocked! Rokita trying to stand up but can't free himself from Yamamoto's guard. Yamamoto is still in real trouble! Can Rokita finish him? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jean Rokita dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rokita darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Yamamoto seems to have recovered his senses. Rokita is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Yamamoto lands a head kick!
Yamamoto uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rokita. Yamamoto ducks under a wild hook from Rokita. Yamamoto has taken the fight to the clinch.

Rokita has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Yamamoto is proving hard to escape from. Yamamoto tries to strike from the bottom.
Yamamoto wriggles free and stands up. Yamamoto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rokita moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rokita jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Rokita connects with a right hand. Yamamoto shakes it off. Jean Rokita seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Yamamoto with a nice cross. Rokita throws a hook but Yamamoto avoids it easily. Rokita is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Rokita is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rokita throws a hook but Yamamoto avoids it easily. Rokita cracks Yamamoto with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Yamamoto slips a straight right by Rokita. Yamamoto misses with a double jab.
Rokita is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Yamamoto bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Yamamoto gets a clinch. Yamamoto's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Yamamoto throws an overhand right that lands on Rokita's shoulder, as Rokita tries to avoid the shot. Rokita lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Yamamoto ducks under a wild hook from Rokita. Henrique Yamamoto is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Yamamoto throws a head kick that misses. Rokita throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yamamoto scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Rokita loads up on a big right hand but Yamamoto slips the punch. No joy there for Yamamoto, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A short uppercut from Rokita. Rokita pushes off an throws an elbow but Yamamoto leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Rokita is looking to break free of the clinch but Yamamoto has double underhooks. Rokita is trying to force a seperation but Yamamoto has the dominant position. Yamamoto manages to pull guard.
Rokita has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Yamamoto is proving hard to escape from. Yamamoto manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Yamamoto shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Rokita looks to land a right hand but Yamamoto moved out of range. Yamamoto shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rokita is trying to defend but Yamamoto finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Yamamoto missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rokita is looking to escape. Yamamoto decides to stand up. Rokita looks to land a right hand but Yamamoto moved out of range. Rokita connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Yamamoto moves into range and clinches up with Rokita. Yamamoto tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rokita smiles and moves away.
Rokita misses with a hook. Yamamoto ducked under it nicely. Rokita throws a body punch but Yamamoto moves out of range. Yamamoto moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Rokita throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Yamamoto throws a right and a left that both miss.

Yamamoto stands up. Rokita connects with a jab. Yamamoto changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rokita looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Rokita parries the strikes from Yamamoto easily there. Yamamoto is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Rokita to escape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Yamamoto looks up at the clock and then as Rokita takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Yamamoto smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Rokita knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yamamoto on the ground. Yamamoto is trying to get an arm triangle but Rokita is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Henrique Yamamoto showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Rokita's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Yamamoto closes the distance and lands a one-two. The fighters circle momentarily. Rokita darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. That's one minute gone in the round. The ground and pound from Yamamoto seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Henrique Yamamoto has got the better of the ground game so far. Yamamoto tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Yamamoto wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rokita, who protects the arm well. Yamamoto tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Yamamoto misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rokita cracks Yamamoto with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Rokita tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Yamamoto has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rokita finds it's way round the side to connect with Yamamoto's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rokita throws a lazy head kick and Yamamoto counters by moving into the clinch. Yamamoto jumps into guard, dragging Rokita to the mat.
Rokita will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Yamamoto pushes Rokita off and scrambles back to his feet.

Yamamoto keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rokita's efforts to push away. Yamamoto tries to pull guard but Rokita won't allow it.
Yamamoto working some nice short punches in the clinch. Rokita lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Rokita is trying to break the clinch but Yamamoto is controlling him. Rokita pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rokita misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yamamoto slips under a jab. Rokita dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Yamamoto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rokita swats him away and circles back towards the center. Yamamoto closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Rokita pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yamamoto jumps guard but Rokita stands there with Yamamoto around his waist. Yamamoto gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Henrique Yamamoto. I think Yamamoto has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
