The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silva moves away.
Smith connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Silva takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Silva is rocked!
It looks like Ramoan Silva has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Silva does a little dance to reset his feet.
Smith misses with a jab, cross combination.
Smith drops Silva with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Silva! Smith dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). Steve Smith!
