Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tarja Halonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaba Wonton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wonton has chosen Dropkick Murphys - Im Shipping Up To Boston as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tarja Halonen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Shaba Wonton!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wonton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Halonen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wonton circles away.
Halonen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Halonen prevents Wonton from standing back up.
Halonen trying to control the pace.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Halonen lands a nice short elbow.
Halonen slips a nice elbow through Wonton's hands, connecting with Wonton's forehead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Halonen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Wonton is trying to stand.
Wonton has hold of Halonen's hands but Halonen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Halonen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wonton keeps working.
Wonton is trying to stand up here but Halonen is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Halonen is keen to just control but Wonton is a slippery customer.
Halonen is nestled in close to Wonton, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wonton pushes Halonen off looking to stand but Halonen dives back in and keeps control.
Wonton is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Halonen wants to pass to mount but Wonton is defending the position.

Halonen scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Halonen perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Halonen passes to full mount!
Halonen controlling his opponent.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Halonen is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Wonton can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Wonton is bucking up trying to escape but Halonen cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Halonen has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Wonton's face.
It looks like Shaba Wonton has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That has opened up Shaba Wonton's cut even more.
Halonen lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The cut above Shaba Wonton's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Wonton is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Halonen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Wonton looks a forlorn figure.
Shaba Wonton's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Shaba Wonton's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tarja Halonen!
