Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marshal Erickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson has chosen Cruel Summer as his entrance music. Marshal Erickson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marshal Erickson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Brock Thompson!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erickson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Thompson keeping full guard, as Erickson tries to pass.
Erickson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thompson is trying to keep Erickson in close.
Erickson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Thompson dives on top into guard.
Thompson looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Erickson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Erickson wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Thompson is now in half guard.
Erickson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Thompson pulls his head out easily.
Erickson trying to get back to full guard but Thompson takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Thompson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Thompson prevents Erickson from getting the reversal.
Thompson stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Thompson throws a quick inside leg kick.
Brock Thompson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A solid leg kick lands there for Thompson.
Erickson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Erickson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Thompson avoids it really well and circles away.
Thompson throws a leg kick which misses Erickson's front leg but catches the back leg as Erickson tries to avoid it.
Erickson is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thompson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Erickson shoots in for a takedown but Thompson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Thompson stuffs the takedown attempt from Erickson. Erickson gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marshal Erickson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Erickson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Marshal Erickson has been cut.
Erickson takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Thompson lands a big head kick that sends Erickson tumbling to the mat! Thompson takes a step backwards and waves Erickson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Erickson is rocked!
Thompson lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Erickson crumples to the floor! Thompson milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
