Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sunny Slade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sunny Slade has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Vincent Hunter's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vincent Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sunny Slade!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter throws a body kick that misses.
Slade does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hunter dodges the punch combination from Slade.
Slade blocks the body kick.
Slade throws a front kick aimed at Hunter's knee but Hunter avoids it well.
Hunter clinches.
Slade wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Hunter misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Slade.

Slade takes an elbow to the temple.
Slade breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Slade attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Hunter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Slade tries to clinch there but Hunter circles away.
Hunter keeps Slade at a distance using the push kick.
Slade throws an overhand right that lands on Hunter's shoulder, as Hunter tries to avoid the shot.
Slade uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hunter.
Hunter dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Slade. That did some damage!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hunter.
Hunter looks for the body kick but Slade saw that one coming.
Slade lands a left and a right that send Hunter crashing to the mat, dazed. Slade thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hunter is rocked!
It looks like Vincent Hunter has been cut.
Hunter lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
A thudding body kick lands there by Hunter!

Hunter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Slade manages to avoid it.
Some wild striking there from Slade.
Slade shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Slade showed some decent athleticism there.
Hunter manages to get to full guard.
Slade postures up.
Hunter is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Slade stopping the sweep attempt from Hunter.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Slade accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hunter is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Slade is aware though and is defending well.
Slade throwing strikes from guard but Hunter blocks nicely.

Slade wants to stand but Hunter has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Slade throws and elbow that misses. Hunter uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Slade's guard. Nice move by Hunter!

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Hunter looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Hunter stops Slade from standing up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hunter forces his way into half guard.
Hunter trying to control from half guard but Slade is working away.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Hunter is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Slade really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hunter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Slade is staying active underneath Hunter, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Hunter is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Slade as he works his way to full guard.
Slade is looking to sweep but instead, Hunter has passed into half guard.
