The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wright ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Volkov moves away.
Pasha Volkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Volkov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Volkov has Wright pressed against the cage, preventing Wright from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Volkov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Wright takes the fight into the clinch.
Wright fails to pull guard.
Volkov landing knees to the head.

It looks like Malik Wright has been cut.

Volkov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wright tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Wright shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Volkov but Volkov pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A slapping leg kick lands for Volkov.

Wright shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Volkov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Volkov has his feet on Wright's thighs here. He's pushed Wright off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Wright screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
