Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amsel Socamo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Socamo throws a series of punches but Long avoids them all with ease.
Long changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Socamo tries to avoid it but Long manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Socamo to the ground. Socamo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A big head kick from Long and Socamo is sent sprawling to the canvas!
Socamo is rocked!
It looks like Amsel Socamo has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Long shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Socamo pinned against the cage. Socamo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Socamo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A slow jab from Socamo misses its intended target.
Socamo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Long.
Long takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Socamo avoids the head kick by Long.
Long steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Socamo.

Socamo missing with a left hand there. Long was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Long with a poor takedown
and Socamo counters with a huge left! Long is in big trouble! He's backing up but Socamo isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Long from any more damage. A dominating finish by Socamo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Amsel Socamo! Amsel Socamo retains his light heavyweight title!
