The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weston defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Vickson.

Vickson feints and as Weston raises his hands in defense, Vickson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Weston cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Weston is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Vickson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Vickson shrugs it off.
Vickson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Vickson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Weston to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Vickson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Weston pulls down on the head and he's put Vickson to sleep! This one is all over!
