Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, shario mikn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alejandro Cabrera!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Cabrera. No joy for mikn on that attempt.
Cabrera misses with a wild combination.
Cabrera looks to land a combination but mikn avoids it well.

Excellent takedown into side control there by mikn.
Cabrera manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Cabrera thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Cabrera is looking to take a break and control but mikn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Cabrera seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
mikn wants to improve his position but Cabrera is controlling well.

Cabrera looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
mikn tries to roll over but Cabrera keeps him under control.
Still in half guard, Cabrera seems content to control.

Cabrera is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
mikn is trying to get back to full guard.
Cabrera is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Cabrera really doesn't want to stay on the ground with mikn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ground and pound from Cabrera.
mikn tries to get to full guard but Cabrera has control of the leg.
Cabrera is keen to just control but mikn is a slippery customer.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cabrera misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cabrera stuffs the takedown.
mikn is breathing heavily.
Nice body punch from Cabrera.

Cabrera forces mikn back against the cage and clinches.
Cabrera scores with a knee to the head.


It looks like shario mikn has been cut.
Cabrera connects with a nasty looking knee right to mikn's face.
Cabrera lands a left hand.
Cabrera lands with a light punch inside.

Cabrera breaks from the clinch.

Cabrera closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. mikn did well to prevent Cabrera getting side control.
mikn avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cabrera.
Cabrera keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cabrera's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Cabrera working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
mikn is looking to improve his position.

Cabrera is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cabrera takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cabrera in particular looking to stall.
Let's hope that Cabrera has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cabrera lands a nice short elbow.
mikn pushes Cabrera off looking to stand but Cabrera dives back in and keeps control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alejandro Cabrera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A solid body kick from Cabrera.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cabrera, as that shot connected.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Cabrera! mikn is out on his feet! Cabrera rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - mikn is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! mikn is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alejandro Cabrera!
