Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Dent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dent might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Powertrip. The crowd seem to be enjoying Martinez's choice of entrance music: Puya -- Sal Pa' Fuera. Curtis Dent could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jesus Martinez's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dent tries a head kick but it misses.
Martinez throws a hook to the side of Dent's head but Dent sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dent looks to land a right hand but Martinez moved out of range.

Dent ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Dent swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Martinez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dent swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Martinez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Martinez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dent looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Martinez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dent knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Dent decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Martinez, up you get!
Martinez is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Martinez cracks Dent with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Martinez goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Dent turns into him and now he's in Martinez's guard.
Dent is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Martinez isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dent stacks Martinez on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dent!

Jesus Martinez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Martinez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
