Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sultan Von Allih Carim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luc Gauthier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Carim might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Walk by Pantera. The crowd seem to be enjoying Gauthier's choice of entrance music: let's get rowdy, Aaron Pritchett. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sultan Von Allih Carim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luc Gauthier!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carim throws a chopping leg kick but Gauthier manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Carim swats away the attempt to clinch by Gauthier.
Carim changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gauthier tries to avoid it but Carim manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gauthier to the ground. Gauthier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A combination from Gauthier does no damage.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Carim tries to score a body lock takedown but Gauthier shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Gauthier breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gauthier closes the distance and clinches up with Carim, looking for a takedown. Gauthier pushes Carim against the cage but Carim circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Carim throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Carim bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Gauthier seems a little lost for a moment, as Carim dominates the positioning.
Gauthier is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Carim wants to control but Gauthier is keeping him busy.

Carim is looking to take a break and control but Gauthier is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Carim is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Gauthier will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Gauthier counters with a nice double leg into side control. Carim won't be happy with that.

Gauthier remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

and Gauthier counters by moving into the clinch.

Gauthier is trying to work for a kimura but Carim is defending well.
Gauthier is trying to control the action in half guard but Carim is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Gauthier got a little sloppy there for a moment and Carim has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gauthier has managed to get both his arms back between Carim's legs - danger averted.
Gauthier wants to control from the top but Carim keeps moving.
Carim escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gauthier gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Carim pushes Gauthier off and scrambles back to his feet.

A close second round but Luc Gauthier will probably get the nod - 10:9.
