Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cody Stuber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lunar Eclipse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stuber comes to the cage accompanied by Bodies. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cody Stuber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lunar Eclipse! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eclipse shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stuber as he jumps to the side. Eclipse avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Stuber fails in his attempt to clinch. Eclipse keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Eclipse should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Eclipse slips under a jab from Stuber. Eclipse darts in trying to clinch and Stuber cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Eclipse has a takedown stuffed. Eclipse defending well as Stuber loads up on a big left hand. Eclipse throws a right and a left that Stuber avoids nicely. Stuber lands with a thumping leg kick.
Stuber loads up on a big right hand but Eclipse slips the punch. Eclipse stuffs the takedown. Eclipse tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stuber swivels and escapes. Cody Stuber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lunar Eclipse. Eclipse throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stuber misses with a looping left. Eclipse stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stuber. Stuber shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Eclipse as he avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eclipse uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stuber. Eclipse fails with an attempt to clinch.
The fighters circling - Stuber throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Cody Stuber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Eclipse tries to clinch but Stuber moves out of range. A punch lands to the side of Eclipse 's head but he takes it in his stride. A nice combination there by Eclipse.
Stuber will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stuber shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Stuber is breathing heavily. Eclipse is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Stuber throwing strikes from guard but Eclipse blocks nicely. Stuber has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Eclipse is proving hard to escape from. Stuber postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back. Stuber will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Eclipse has a closed guard, preventing Stuber from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stuber postures up.
Eclipse has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Stuber decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Eclipse uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stuber. Stuber throws an overhand right that lands on Eclipse's shoulder, as Eclipse tries to avoid the shot. Eclipse ducks under a wild hook from Stuber. Eclipse moves away from the strike by Stuber. An inside leg kick lands from Stuber. Stuber throws a left and a right that both miss
and Eclipse counters with a stiff right hand. Stuber stuffs the takedown attempt from Eclipse. Eclipse gets slowly back to his feet. Eclipse throws a wild body kick that Stuber sees coming a mile off. Eclipse tries to clinch but Stuber is having none of it. Excellent takedown into side control there by Stuber. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Stuber stands up and beckons Eclipse to his feet. Eclipse fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eclipse fails with a takedown attempt. Eclipse ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Nice takedown defense from Eclipse. No joy for Stuber on that attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stuber. Stuber looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Eclipse shoots and misses and Stuber counters with a body kick that stops Eclipse in his tracks momentarily. Stuber throws a hook but Eclipse blocks it. Eclipse throws a sloppy head kick and Stuber moves out of range easily. Stuber tries a head kick but it misses.
Eclipse is looking to clinch but Stuber is avoiding it.
Eclipse throws a one two combo.
Left hook, right uppercut from Eclipse. Eclipse fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Stuber throws a right hand that Eclipse ducks under and follows up with a left that Eclipse also avoids with ease. Stuber throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Stuber lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stuber shoots for a takedown but Eclipse saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A lazy left from Stuber finds it's target. Stuber is looking to clinch. Stuber throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Eclipse counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Stuber breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stuber throws a hook but Eclipse avoids it easily. Eclipse misses with a body kick. Stuber throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stuber takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stuber tries to land a front kick but Eclipse steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Stuber shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Eclipse as he jumps to the side. Eclipse dodges the punch combination from Stuber.
Eclipse uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stuber.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stuber throws a front kick aimed at Eclipse's knee but Eclipse avoids it well. Donk. Stuber catches Eclipse right on the button with a cross. Eclipse shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Eclipse wants to clinch. Eclipse stuffs the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cody Stuber dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Stuber swats away the attempt to clinch by Eclipse. A head kick misses from Stuber. Stuber tries to land a leg kick but Eclipse saw it coming and moves away.
Eclipse shoots in but Stuber avoids the takedown attempt easily. Stuber misses with a double jab
and Eclipse counters with a nice uppercut. Stuber lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Eclipse throws a lazy head kick and Stuber counters with a low kick, right behind Eclipse 's knee. Stuber shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Eclipse as he jumps to the side. Eclipse wants to clinch and Stuber counters with a hugh head kick that removes Eclipse from consiousness! A brutal head kick knockout!
