The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Toney, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Toney throws a nice looking combination but Myller bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Toney will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Myller throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Myller lands an overhand right.
It looks like James Toney has been cut.
Toney takes one on the chin but seems OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Myller misses with an uppercut. Toney saw that one coming.
Myller tries to bum rush Toney with a series of wild strikes but Toney uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
James Toney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Myller throws a series of punches but Toney avoids them all with ease.

Myller drops Toney with a beautiful combination! Toney stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Myller is looking for the KO!

Toney throws a right and a left that Myller avoids nicely.
Myller is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Toney flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Toney is out cold! Myller holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
