Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The fight stays on the outside here - jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

me throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

me dives in and grabs jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. jones pushes down on me's head and hops out.
me changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. jones tries to avoid it but me manages to keep hold of a leg and drag jones to the ground. jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
me looks gassed!
me lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but jones circles away quickly and effectively.
Nice takedown defense from jones. No joy for me on that attempt.
me shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has jones pinned against the cage. jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

me shoots for a double leg takedown but jones sprawls well. He's pushed me's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

me is working for takedown but jones is calmly controlling the position for now.

jones feints and then cracks me's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow me down.

jones moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Good leg kick by jones there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
me chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before jones can pounce on him.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting jones here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

me has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, jones has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
