Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sue Cash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincenzo Ferrara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cash comes to the cage accompanied by A boy named sue. Ferrara has chosen Sons Of Odin (Manowar) as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sue Cash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vincenzo Ferrara!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ferrara shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Ferrara swings around for an armbar but Cash sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ferrara's guard.
Cash is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ferrara tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Ferrara can't keep his opponent in guard - Cash advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Cash seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ferrara does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Ferrara wants to control but Cash is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Cash is looking to advance position but Ferrara won't allow it.
Ferrara holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Well, if Cash is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cash controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Cash pushes down on Ferrara's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cash is breathing heavily.
Cash takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Sue Cash just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Ferrara gets the takedown into side control.
Cash tries to bench press Ferrara off him but Ferrara keeps the position.
Cash manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Ferrara counters with a takedown into side control.
Ferrara is looking to take a break and control but Cash is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Sue Cash has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Cash has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ferrara is working away from the top position though.

Well Ferrara has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
