The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fast fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Fast shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rubble but Rubble pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Fast avoids the head kick by Rubble.

Rubble stuffs the takedown attempt from Fast. Fast gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Too Fast. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Too Fast seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fast closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rubble circles away.

Rubble is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Fast takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Rubble tries to bum rush Fast with a series of wild strikes but Fast uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fast.

Fast clobbers Rubble with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Rubble drops his hands momentarily and Fast takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nice takedown defense from Rubble. No joy for Fast on that attempt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fast, as that shot connected.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fast is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

The fighters circle momentarily. Fast darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rubble pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Fast avoids the body shot from Rubble.
Fast shoots for a takedown but Rubble saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Rubble walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Rubble throws a leg kick but Fast moved away.
Fast shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rubble defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fast.

Fast connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Fast shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rubble sprawls well. Rubble wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fast gets slowly back to his feet.
Fast is breathing heavily.
Fast shoots in and bounces Rubble off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Rubble is trying to keep Fast in close.
Rubble is wriggling around but Fast manages to pass to half guard.
Fast has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Rubble defend it? Fast steps over the head and cranks it - Rubble is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Fast!
