Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Romario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romero Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos Romario! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Romero Gracie! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romario tries to score with a low kick but Gracie moves his leg out of the way. Carlos Romario seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Romario on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gracie. Gracie obviously looking to wear him down.
Gracie shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gracie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Romario looks like he's trying to stand up.
Gracie is taking a breather. Romario says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Romario is trying to stand back up but Gracie is controlling him
Gracie wants to pass to mount but Romario is defending the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Romario is looking to escape. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Gracie passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Romario! Romario really wants to buck Gracie off and get back to his feet. Gracie working for a guillotine from mount but Romario is in no mood to give up. Gracie connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Romario is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Gracie lands a nice shot to the head. Gracie with the ground and pound from mount. Gracie sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie has hold of Romario's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Romario manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
You get the feeling that Romario really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Gracie jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Romario manages to avoid the submission attempt. Romario is trying to buck Gracie off. Gracie is putting a hurting on Romario here, landing some big shots from side control. Romario is trying to get back to his feet. Romario is breathing heavily. Gracie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gracie scores with a couple of short elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie scoring with punches from side control. Gracie trying to control the position but Romario is working away. Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Romario is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Gracie prevents Romario from escaping the position. Gracie tries to advance to mount but Romario denies him. Romario on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Gracie tries to score with some ground and pound. Romario controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Gracie tries for a kimura but Romario is defending well. Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Romario keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Romario pushes Gracie away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gracie gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Romario has escaped the position, nice work there. Romario throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Romario takes a swing at Gracie's ribcage but misses. Some wild striking there from Romario.
A low kick from Romario is predictable there and Gracie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Gracie takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A big left from Gracie misses. Gracie throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Romario throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gracie. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Romero Gracie dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt. Some wild striking there from Romario.
Gracie misses with a low kick. Romario throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Romario throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range. Gracie cracks the inside of Romario's front leg. Romario closes the distance and lands a one-two. Romario tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Romario throws a leg kick and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Romario is looking to escape. Gracie winds up and cracks Romario with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Gracie prevents Romario from standing back up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Romario on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gracie connects with a nice short shot to Romario's temple.
That's one minute gone in the round. Romario is staying active underneath Gracie, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Romario is trying to stand back up but Gracie is controlling him
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gracie connects with a nice short shot to Romario's temple. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie is looking for a kimura but Romario is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage. Romario wants to get back to his feet.
Gracie is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Romero Gracie has got the better of the ground game so far. Romario pushes Gracie off and gets back to his feet. An inside leg kick lands from Gracie. Carlos Romario is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Romario with a body punch. A glancing blow. Gracie feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Romario's calf. Romario misses with a double jab
and Gracie counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Danga de danga de dang - Romario scores with a four punch combination! Gracie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Romario's half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Romario is trying to stand.
Gracie passes to side control. Romario wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Romario is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Gracie lands a nice forearm strike. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Gracie trying to control the position but Romario is working away. Gracie in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Romario stops Gracie from passing to mount. Romario is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Gracie has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Romario is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Romario parries the strikes from Gracie easily there. Gracie is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Romario to escape.
Gracie prevents Romario from escaping the position. Gracie scores with punches from side control. Romario takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Romario knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Romario is trying to buck Gracie off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie is working to tighten is grip on Romario's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Romario has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Gracie is really squeezing tight and eventually Romario passes out! Gracie breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
