Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Takamasa Anai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gives All (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gives All!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by All or perhaps it was just good defense by Anai which made him look bad.
All lands a slapping body shot.
All is trying hard to land a takedown here. Anai sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Anai fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Anai shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as All sprawls well. All wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Anai gets slowly back to his feet.

All wants to improve his position but Anai is controlling well.

and All holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Anai blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Anai pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Anai is breathing heavily.
All perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
All prevents Anai from improving his position.
Anai wants to control but All is keeping busy.
All is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

All is stalling here. Anai is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! All seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Anai has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if All can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


All throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Anai shoots in for a takedown but All shows good takedown defense.

and All connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Horrible takedown by Anai or perhaps it was just good defense by All which made him look bad.
All throws a series of punches but Anai avoids them all with ease.
Anai swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - All looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

All looks to land a combination. Anai sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
All throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Takamasa Anai is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
All shoots in for a double leg but Anai sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

All looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Anai manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

All must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Anai wants to get back to his feet but All is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Anai manages to escape and get back to his feet.
All stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Anai tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but All swivels and escapes.

All darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Anai manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

All has gone for a leg lock! Anai slips out almost immediately though and dives into All's guard.
All keeping moving, preventing Anai from controlling successfully.

Gives All showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Anai rushes All and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Anai pulls guard.

Anai has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but All can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
All showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Anai is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
All stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anai swivels though and keeps the full guard.

All would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Anai is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Takamasa Anai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gives All.

Anai winds up and cracks All with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Anai.
All gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Anai counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in All's guard now.
Takamasa Anai has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Gives All is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Anai throws a big right hand that misses.

Takamasa Anai showed his dominance in that final round.
I think All has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
