Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Barns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdhulla Nasofarm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nasofarm is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Biggest & the best - Clawfinger. Abdhulla Nasofarm struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Steve Barns has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barns lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Barns lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Nasofarm backs up against the ropes.

Nasofarm changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Barns tries to avoid it but Nasofarm manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Barns to the ground. Barns escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Barns pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nasofarm closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Nasofarm is trying to ground and pound but Barns uses the momentary lack of control by Nasofarm to regain half guard.

Nasofarm misses with a head shot. Barns uses the momentum to regain guard.

Nasofarm working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Barns working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nasofarm doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nasofarm manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Barns looking for a guillotine here but Nasofarm defends easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Nasofarm stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Barns throws up his legs and catches Nasofarm in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Nasofarm tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Barns! That came out of nowhere!
