Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Thomas Callahan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ben Tumbling! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tumbling fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Callahan avoids it really well and circles away. Tumbling will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Callahan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Callahan misses the shot to the body. Tumbling displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Callahan throws out the jab. Callahan misses with an uppercut. Tumbling saw that one coming. Tumbling swinging wildly here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tumbling takes a swing at Callahan's ribcage but misses. Tumbling forces Callahan back against the ropes and clinches. Callahan wants to break the clinch but can't.

Thomas Callahan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Tumbling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Callahan tries to break the clinch but Tumbling is controlling the position. Tumbling jumps guard but Callahan stands there with Tumbling around his waist. Tumbling gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Tumbling jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Callahan walks away with a smile on his face. Tumbling gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Tumbling blocks a jab. Callahan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Callahan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Callahan throws a combination that misses and Callahan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Tumbling takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. A slow jab from Callahan misses its intended target. Tumbling takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Tumbling looks gassed! Tumbling tries to score a power double leg takedown but Callahan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tumbling somewhat. Callahan jabs at Tumbling's body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Callahan with a hook. Callahan connects with a single shot there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tumbling uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Callahan. Callahan throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Tumbling stumbling backwards into the ropes! Tumbling bounces back off the ropes towards Callahan, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Callahan lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Callahan celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Thomas Callahan!
