And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rob Magalesh!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jun accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jun stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Magalesh swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Magalesh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jun pinned against the cage. Jun gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Jun is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Magalesh connects with a nice short shot to Jun's temple.

Magalesh is looking for a kimura but Jun is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Magalesh to get the leverage.

Misugi Jun showed his dominance in that final round.
I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
