Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cesar Anders! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anders shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gracie napping and manages to drive through into side control! Gracie looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Anders stands up and we're back to a striking position. Anders shoots in for a takedown from distance. Let's hope that Anders has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. I looks like Anders might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Anders is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gracie has escaped the position, nice work there. Anders takes a little break here. Gracie wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Anders working the body and head with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. A lull in the action here as Anders stalls from top position. Anders landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Anders tries to advance to mount but Gracie denies him. Anders working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Anders tries to score with some ground and pound. Gracie controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Anders has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Gracie!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Anders with a couple of short strikes. Anders controlling the pace for now. Anders cracks Gracie with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Despite being in the dominant position, Cesar Anders just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Anders looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Gracie! Poor strikes thrown by Anders there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie tries to hold on but Anders postures up. Anders in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Cesar Anders dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Anders clinches up with Gracie and pushes him back against the cage. Anders pushes off an throws an elbow but Gracie leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Anders breaks from the clinch.
Cesar Anders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anders shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gracie's guard. Anders showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Anders pushing down on Gracie's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anders is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gracie defends it well. Anders sitting and controlling from the half guard. Cesar Anders has got the better of the ground game so far. Anders tries to pass to full mount but Gracie defends it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anders takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Anders lands strikes from half guard. Anders decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Gracie takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Anders moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Anders lands a body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anders with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Anders closes the distance and lands a one-two. Gracie gets caught flat footed, as Anders shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Anders is stalling in the full guard. Anders won't allow Gracie to sweep him here. Anders trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Anders drops back looking for a leg! Gracie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gracie manages to kick Anders off! Anders jumps back into Gracie's guard. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Anders from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie is trying to control the position but Anders postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anders slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Anders must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Gracie circles away from the clinch attempt.
A punch combination from Anders misses. Anders has closed the distance and engaged Gracie in a clinch.
Gracie gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Anders.
Gracie looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Anders stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Anders decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Gracie is looking to improve his position.
Anders is controlling the pace.
Anders is pressing down on Gracie's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gracie is holding on for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cesar Anders showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Anders darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Anders is figuring out what he wants to do next. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie is trying to maintain the position but Anders is very close to passing his half guard. Anders content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Gracie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Gracie pushes Anders off looking to stand but Anders dives back in and keeps control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anders trying to control the pace. Anders prevents Gracie from improving his position. Anders decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Anders moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Anders moves into range and clinches up with Gracie. Anders lands a right hand that snaps the head of Gracie backwards. Anders tries to score a body lock takedown but Gracie shows good agility there to stay on his feet. A short uppercut from Anders.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anders breaks from the clinch.
Anders closes the distance and lands a one-two. Gracie gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Anders to score an easy takedown into full guard. Anders controlling from the top position. Anders postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ralph Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cesar Anders is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gracie throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
And that's the end of the fight! Cesar Anders comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Anders has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
