Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergiou Figu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Condo Bone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Sergiou Figu has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sergiou Figu seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergiou Figu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Condo Bone! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bone rushes Figu and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Bone's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Figu drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Figu lands a nice forearm strike. Bone is not content to let Figu control the position. Bone managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Figu.
Figu working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Figu scores with a couple of short elbows. Bone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Figu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bone is looking for a sweep. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Figu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bone keeps working. Bone tries to improve position but can't. Figu creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Bone sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Figu works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Bone should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bone is not content to let Figu control the position. Figu connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bone some visible discomfort.
Figu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bone keeps working. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Figu wants to control but Bone is keeping him busy. Figu misses with the ground and pound. Bone tries to bench press Figu off him but Figu keeps the position. Bone manages to get back to half guard. Figu wants to take a breather but Bone is having none of it. Bone has hold of Figu's hands but Figu slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Figu lands strikes from half guard. Figu seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bone punching from the bottom.
Figu thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bone's head. Figu lands strikes from half guard. Bone looks gassed! Figu looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bone with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Bone makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bone. Figu sitting in guard here, content to control. Figu is looking to work some ground and pound but Bone has wrist control. Bone keeping moving, preventing Figu from controlling successfully. Figu pushes down on Bone's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Figu trying to control the pace. Figu trying to control from half guard but Bone is working away. Bone avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Figu. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Figu lands a nice short elbow. Figu looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bone with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Figu seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Figu is looking to take a break and control but Bone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Sergiou Figu just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Figu darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Figu working the head and body with strikes. Bone is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Figu scores with a couple of nice shots. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Figu working over Bone with some ground and pound. Bone looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Ground and pound from Figu. Bone taking some punishment here, with Figu in his half guard.
Bone is rocked! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bone is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Figu scores with a couple of nice shots. Bone is still in real trouble! Can Figu finish him? Figu landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Ground and pound from Figu. And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
Sergiou Figu dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Figu throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bone was covering up waiting for the punch and Figu finishes the takedown easily into guard. Figu working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bone seems to have recovered his senses. Figu trying to control but Bone is working from the bottom. Figu passes Bone's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Figu seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Bone is looking to improve his position.
Figu not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bone keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Figu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Figu is taking a breather. Bone says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Bone is breathing heavily. Figu winds up and cracks Bone with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Figu wants to control but Bone is keeping him busy. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Figu thows a huge punch but Bone dodges it nicely.
Figu looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Figu is nestled in close to Bone, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Figu passes the guard and advances to mount! Figu unloading with bombs! Figu scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Bone?
Figu looking to finish Bone with some ground and pound. This is bad for Bone! Figu controlling his opponent. Figu fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Figu looking to control but Bone is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. BOOM! Figu connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Figu is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bone can do to turn this around? Figu lands a nice shot to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bone in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Figu looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Oooh a big shot lands for Figu! Bone is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Sergiou Figu!
