Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Samuel King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neville Champman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes into the arena with Breaking Benjamin - Blow Me Away blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Samuel King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Neville Champman! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Champman throws out a token jab with nothing on it. King throws a one two combo.
King lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. King gets in close and instigates a clinch. King lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Champman tries a knee to the head but King blocks it.

Champman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. King lands a right hook to the body.

Champman takes one to the chin there. King connects with a right hand. Champman shakes it off. A shot to de liver by King. Beautiful body shot. Champman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but King moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A punch lands to the side of Champman 's head but he takes it in his stride. Champman on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

King digs a good body shot into Champman's ribs. Champman throws a front kick aimed at King's knee but King avoids it well. Champman fails with a takedown attempt. King lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Champman at a distance.
King uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Champman. King connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. King darts in and clinches Champman up against the cage. King lands a body punch. King lands a left hand.

Champman lands an elbow inside that King shrugs off. King escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
King scores with a punch to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Champman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as King sprawls well. King wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Champman gets slowly back to his feet. Samuel King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Neville Champman. Champman shoots in and drives through. King sprawls well. Champman looks gassed!

King throws a combination that misses and Champman counters with a one-two to the body. Champman tries to clinch up. King will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

King pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. King bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Champman's head backwards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King lands a jab-cross combination. Champman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
King slips a jab from Champman. King comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. A big right from Champman misses. King throws a left and a right that both miss
and Champman counters with a stiff right hand. King throws a combination. Champman tries to block but a couple of punches get through. King fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Champman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with King but King pushes him off and we're back to square one. Champman dives in and grabs King's left leg, looking for a takedown. King pushes down on Champman's head and hops out. King lands with a good body shot. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. No joy there for King, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Champman shoots for a double leg takedown but King sprawls well. He's pushed Champman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Champman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
King looks to land a combination. Champman sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Samuel King dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Champman has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. The crowd cheers as Champman lands an impressive looking overhand right. King doesn't seem phased though. King scores with a jab. Champman acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Nice straight punches there by King. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of King.

King bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Champman's guard. Champman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Champman trying to keep a closed guard but King is proving a slippery customer.

Champman shoots in looking for a takedown. King tries to sprawl out of it but Champman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. King manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Champman takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Champman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. King tests Champman's chin there with a solid looking shot. King lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. King lands a really nice looking cross but Champman seems unphased.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Champman showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from King.

Champman tries to close the distance and clinch but King swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. King bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Champman's head. King bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Champman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Champman is staying tight to King's torso, preventing him from escaping. Champman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. King is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Champman just content to control the position. King wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

You can see the frustration on King's face as Champman controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Champman working away. Champman tries to advance to mount but can't. King gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Champman controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Despite being in the dominant position, Neville Champman just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. King lands with an overhand left. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. King thows a body shot but no joy. Neville Champman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Champman wants to clinch up but King keeps it at a distance.
And that's the end of the fight! Neville Champman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think King has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
