Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Uncle Sam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dallas Cowboys (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Uncle Sam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dallas Cowboys! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sam looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Cowboys tries to get to full guard but Sam has control of the leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sam is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Sam thows a huge punch but Cowboys dodges it nicely.
Sam is working for a submission of some sort.
Sam wants to pass to mount but Cowboys is defending the position. Sam is looking for a kimura here.
Sam gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
That's one minute gone in the round. Sam is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sam connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cowboys momentarily.
Cowboys shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sam sprawls well. Sam wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cowboys gets slowly back to his feet. Sam changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cowboys looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sam lands a decent elbow from side control. Cowboys is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Sam off and has taken his back! Cowboys lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Sam is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Cowboys tries to keep control of the position but Sam is staying busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cowboys is persistently looking for the submission but Sam is defending it well.
Will Cowboys go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Sam turns into Cowboys and is now in his guard.
Cowboys wants to stand up but Sam is controlling him. Cowboys looks gassed! Sam keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cowboys's head. Sam has gone for a leg lock! Cowboys slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sam's guard. Sam looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cowboys is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cowboys trying to control the position from guard on top but Sam is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sam looking for a sweep. Not yet Sam, not yet. Sam throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Sam escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cowboys gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sam tries to strike from the bottom.
Sam doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Cowboys slips under a jab from Sam. Cowboys chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Cowboys throws a leg kick but Sam checks it. Cowboys misses the shot to the body. Sam is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cowboys. Cowboys shoots for a takedown but Sam saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Cowboys shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sam pinned against the cage. Sam gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Uncle Sam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dallas Cowboys. Sam bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cowboys's head backwards. Sam throws a shot from downtown. Cowboys moves away and avoids it. Sam throws a sloppy head kick and Cowboys moves out of range easily. Sam connects with a right hand. Cowboys shakes it off. Sam tries to keep at a distance but Cowboys has taken the fight into the clinch. A battle for position here, against the cage. Cowboys tries to pull guard but Sam won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cowboys is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Uncle Sam is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cowboys shoots in for a double leg but Sam sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cowboys shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sam as he jumps to the side. Sam feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Sam is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Sam lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Cowboys has his foot on Sam's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sam works his way back into a safe position though. Cowboys is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sam pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cowboys is keeping the position for now. Sam wants to control from the top but Cowboys keeps moving. Sam working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cowboys's head. Cowboys has an active guard here but Sam has managed to pass into half guard.
Sam is nestled in close to Cowboys, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Sam gets to his feet - back to striking we go! It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Sam is looking to clinch but Cowboys is avoiding it.
Sam scores a takedown into full mount! Sam landing strikes from the mount and Cowboys is in trouble! Cowboys is trying desperately to improve position. Sam looking for a guillotine from mount but Cowboys is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cowboys is squirming around, avoiding Sam's attempts to control the action. Cowboys regains half guard. Cowboys is trying to stand back up but Sam is controlling him

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Cowboys is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Cowboys throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cowboys tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sam fails to land with a series of punches.
Sam scores with a decent looking hook. Cowboys pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Sam. Sam decides to stand back up. Cowboys scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Sam gets the takedown into side control. Sam tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sam has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
And that's the end of the fight! Uncle Sam showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sam, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
