The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huerta takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Huerta checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Edgar looks to land a combination but Huerta avoids it well.
Huerta fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A left and a right from Edgar both land. Nice combination.
Edgar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Huerta.
Huerta is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Edgar's half guard.
Huerta is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Huerta is looking for a kimura but Edgar is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Huerta to get the leverage.
Edgar wants to improve his position but Huerta is controlling well.
Edgar regains full guard. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Edgar wants to sweep here but Huerta controlling him for the moment.
Huerta tries to free his leg and advance position but Edgar is retaining full guard.

Huerta avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Edgar looking for a triangle here. Huerta is fighting it but it looks tight! Edgar pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Huerta is tapping out - this one is all over!
