The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolo walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jackson.
Jackson throws a half hearted mid kick.
Jackson throws a head kick but Kolo moves out of range.

Kolo tries to clinch but Jackson is having none of it.

Kolo gets caught flat footed, as Jackson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kolo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kolo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackson but Jackson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kolo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jackson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Jackson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kolo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Jackson counters with a head kick. That will keep Kolo thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Kolo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Jackson.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kolo on the ground.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Jackson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Jackson looks up at the clock and then as Kolo takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jackson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

and Jackson counters with a body kick that stops Kolo in his tracks momentarily.

Jackson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jackson showed some decent athleticism there.
Kolo moves into full guard.

Kolo pushes a forearm under Jackson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jackson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
