Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Manny Gambroni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veijo Vinssi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vinssi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Alan Parsons Project - Sirius. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gambroni scores with a nice head shot.

It looks like Veijo Vinssi has been cut.
Gambroni turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Gambroni throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Gambroni lands with a kick to the temple. Vinssi shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Excellent takedown into side control there by Vinssi.

Gambroni pushes Vinssi off looking to stand but Vinssi dives back in and keeps control.

Gambroni wants to improve his position but Vinssi is controlling well.

Vinssi is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gambroni doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Vinssi.

Vinssi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vinssi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Gambroni misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vinssi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Vinssi misses with a takedown attempt - Gambroni sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vinssi.
Manny Gambroni has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Veijo Vinssi.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Gambroni lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Vinssi looks gassed!

Gambroni lands a head kick. Vinssi smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gambroni, right into the meat.
Nice sprawl there from Gambroni as Vinssi shoots in.
Vinssi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gambroni avoids it really well and circles away.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vinssi is defended easily by Gambroni.
Gambroni throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gambroni tries a head kick but it misses.
Vinssi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gambroni circles away.
Gambroni connects with a high kick.

That has opened up Veijo Vinssi's cut even more.
Gambroni scores with a jab to the body.

Manny Gambroni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gambroni bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Vinssi takes a head kick and keeps coming.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Vinssi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gambroni - the referee stops the clock and Vinssi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gambroni. Vinssi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Gambroni feints and then cracks Vinssi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vinssi down.

The cut above Veijo Vinssi's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Veijo Vinssi's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Vinssi takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Veijo Vinssi's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
