Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Stack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Becker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luke Becker struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Luke Becker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Big Stack! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Becker! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stack fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Becker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Becker slips under a jab. Stack changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Becker tries to avoid it but Stack manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Becker to the ground. Becker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Stack misses with a hook. Becker ducked under it nicely. A looping hook to the body misses from Stack. Becker does a little dance to reset his feet. Stack throws a hook but Becker blocks it. Stack swings away with a leg kick that misses. Stack throws a hook but Becker blocks it. Becker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stack looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Stack working for a triangle but Becker defends it easily.
Becker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stack is keeping the position for now. Becker preventing the sweep. Becker looking to pass the guard. Stack tries to land a sweep but no joy. Stack controls Becker momentarily but Becker frees himself. Stack keeping moving, preventing Becker from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Becker with a poor takedown and Stack makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Becker looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stack just misses with a punch to the body.
Stack clinches with his opponent.
Stack can't find room to land a body shot as Becker controls the action.
Stack tries to stall but Becker uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Stack. A bit of stalling here from Stack.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Big Stack. Stack shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stack showed some decent athleticism there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stack is trying to control. Becker wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Becker is looking to get back to full guard here but Stack has managed to pass to side control instead. Stack wants to control the pace but Becker is squirming around nicely. Stack misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Becker is trying to escape the mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Stack tries to control but Becker wriggling away. Becker is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Stack lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Stack throwing strikes here but Becker is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Becker is squirming around, avoiding Stack's attempts to control the action. Becker avoids a series of strikes thrown by Stack.
Becker is in all sorts of trouble here.
Stack throws some wild stikes that Becker manages to avoid easily.
Becker slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Becker actively working from the bottom here. Stack sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Becker defending well though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Big Stack dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Stack lands a lovely overhand right. Becker keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stack. Stack tries a low kick but Becker avoids it. Stack throws a push kick but Becker slaps the foot to one side. A telegraphed right hand from Stack misses the target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Becker on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A bone on bone clash there as Becker blocks the leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stack throws a body punch but Becker moves out of range. Becker tries to keep at a distance but Stack has taken the fight into the clinch. Stack is pressed up against the cage. Becker has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Stack down to the mat. Stack avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Stack throws a nice looking combination but Becker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Stack works Becker's body with a nice hook. Becker is breathing heavily. Becker doesn't succeed with the takedown and Stack counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stack throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stack tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Becker moves away from the strike by Stack. Stack tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Becker was well out of range. Poor timing from Stack. Becker with a poor takedown and Stack makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Big Stack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Becker. Becker takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Stack misses with a body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stack fails with the takedown and Becker counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stack won't be happy with that. Stack manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Stack not landing any meaningful shots this time. Stack wants to lay and pray for a moment but Becker keeps working. Stack winds up and cracks Becker with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Stack uses his free foot to push down on Becker's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Becker. Becker is working to get back to half guard.
Stack pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Becker takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Stack landing strikes from the mount. Becker tries to improve his position but Stack has taken his back! Stack has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Becker tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Stack pushes Becker away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Big Stack! Big Stack retains his light heavyweight title!
