The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnum misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Murphy drops Magnum with a left right combo! Murphy follows him down to the ground into side control.
Magnum is rocked!
It looks like Thomas Magnum has been cut.
Murphy lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Magnum down.

Magnum tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Murphy presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Murphy fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Murphy postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Magnum looks a forlorn figure.
Magnum is looking to improve his position but Murphy isn't that keen on the idea.
