Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lashley Randall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luan Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randall comes to the cage accompanied by pushing me. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lashley Randall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luan Silva!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Randall takes the fight into the clinch.
Randall drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Silva is fighting off a takedown attempt but Randall is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Silva to the mat. Silva regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Silva wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Randall wanted to stand there but Silva had control of the position.
Silva not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Silva keeping moving, preventing Randall from controlling successfully.
Silva is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Randall dives into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Randall works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Silva looks gassed!

An elbow from Randall crashes against the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Randall decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Silva shoots in and drives through. Randall sprawls well.
Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Randall lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Randall bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Silva can't do much from the bottom here.
Silva is looking for a sweep.
Randall controlling the position.
Randall is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Silva is trying to escape and Randall transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Silva is forced to tap! Nice work there by Randall! Very nice indeed!
