Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shina Aoyki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthor Basilicus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Shina Aoyki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anthor Basilicus!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoyki tries for a takedown but Basilicus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Aoyki does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Aoyki looks to land a right hand but Basilicus moved out of range.
Basilicus takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Aoyki.
Aoyki explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Aoyki pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Basilicus lands with a thumping leg kick.
Aoyki misses with an attempted mid kick.

and Basilicus counters with a big head kick but Aoyki shrugs it off.

and Aoyki counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

and Basilicus counters with a head kick that drops Aoyki to the mat! Aoyki scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Aoyki tries to score a power double leg takedown but Basilicus sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Aoyki somewhat.

No joy there for Aoyki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Aoyki throws the kick towards the body but Basilicus avoids it.
Aoyki throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Basilicus tries to work over Aoyki's front leg with a kick but Aoyki checks it.
Basilicus is looking to score with low kicks.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Aoyki lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Basilicus has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Basilicus and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Aoyki lands a nice short elbow.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Basilicus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aoyki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Anthor Basilicus is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Aoyki is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Aoykiis looking to pass into half guard but Basilicus pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Basilicus is in guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Aoyki is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Shina Aoyki has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aoyki has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Basilicus is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Aoyki.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Basilicus decides to stand back up.
Aoyki shoots and misses
and Basilicus counters with a head kick. That will keep Aoyki thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Basilicus counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Aoyki is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Anthor Basilicus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Basilicus winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
