Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Fatsack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kris Novak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dick Fatsack had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 208.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dick Fatsack! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kris Novak! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Novak tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fatsack paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dick Fatsack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fatsack shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Fatsack prevents Novak from improving his position. Fatsack stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Novak to get to his feet. Some wild striking there from Novak.
Novak fails to land the takedown. Fatsack shoots and misses and Novak counters with a single leg into guard. Fatsack didn't expect that. Novak slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Novak wants to control from the top but Fatsack keeps moving. Fatsack uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Novak shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fatsack as he jumps to the side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fatsack drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Fatsack is breathing heavily. Novak managing to control the position. Fatsack throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Fatsack gets to his feet - Novak follows without any prompting. Fatsack bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Novak can't do much from the bottom here. Novak dodges the ground and pound from Fatsack. Fatsack working the ground and pound. Novak avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Fatsack. Fatsack misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Fatsack trying to control the action but Novak is working from the bottom. Fatsack scoring with punches from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Fatsack. Fatsack misses with the ground and pound. Fatsack tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Novak manages to work his way to half guard, despite Fatsack's best efforts. Fatsack wants to get back to his feet.
Fatsack throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Novak is trying to stand back up but Fatsack is controlling him
Fatsack is looking to take a break and control but Novak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fatsack shoots and misses and Novak counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Novak. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fatsack keeping moving, preventing Novak from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fatsack wants to stand and escape but Novak is having none of it. Novak is pushing down on Fatsack's leg trying to pass to half guard. Fatsack is fighting to maintain full guard but Novak has managed to sneak the leg through. Novak passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Fatsack! Fatsack is wriggling around trying to escape.
Novak blocks Fatsack's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Fatsack throws a strike from the bottom but Novak uses the opportunity to take his back. I really don't envy Fatsack right now.
Novak scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Fatsack takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Novak is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Novak gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Novak gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Novak apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Novak tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fatsack swats him away and circles back towards the center. Fatsack walks forward, straight into a front kick from Novak. Novak scores a takedown into full mount!

Fatsack is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Novak prevents Fatsack from getting the reversal. Novak takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. You get the feeling that Fatsack really doesn't like being in this position too much.
A nice elbow there by Novak. Novak stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Novak pivots, looking for a leg kick but Fatsack is out of range and Novak settles back down. Nice sprawl there from Fatsack as Novak shoots in. Dick Fatsack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kris Novak. Novak misses with a wild body shot. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Novak. Fatsack lands with a kick to the ribs.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fatsack misses with a takedown attempt and Novak counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Fatsack! Novak breaks from Fatsack's wrist control and lands an elbow. Fatsack gives up his back whilst trying to strike.
Novak is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kris Novak dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Fatsack fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Novak sprawls well initially but Fatsack persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Novak regains full guard. Nicely done. Novak has his hands on Fatsack's head, controlling the position. Novak pushes Fatsack off and scrambles back to his feet.
Novak feints and then cracks Fatsack's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fatsack down. Novak doesn't succeed with the takedown and Fatsack counters with a shoot takedown. Novak fights it but they end up in guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fatsack looking to sit in guard and control but Novak gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Fatsack manages to escape and get back to his feet.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Fatsack stalling against the cage.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fatsack changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Novak looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Novak has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Fatsack throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Fatsack wants to lay and pray for a moment but Novak keeps working. Fatsack working away. Novak gets back to half guard. Novak works his way to full guard. Good work. Fatsack has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Novak throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.

Novak prevents Fatsack from getting back to his feet. Novak stands up and waves to Fatsack to follow him. Fatsack closes this distance looking for a takedown but Novak circles away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Novak is squirming around, avoiding Fatsack's attempts to control the action. Novak bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Novak won't allow Fatsack to get back to his feet. Novak showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Fatsack throws a nice elbow from the bottom. Fatsack not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That is not cool. Fatsack is trying to control Novak's posture but Novak avoids it. Novak taking a breather here. Novak stands up. Novak gets in close and instigates a clinch. Fatsack can't break the clinch.
Fatsack is working for takedown but Novak is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dick Fatsack. That's going to take a lot out of him. Novak gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Fatsack.
