Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powell shoots in and bounces Cooper off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Powell stands and throws Cooper's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Powell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cooper but Cooper pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Powell has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Cooper.

Powell closes the distance and clinches up with Cooper, looking for a takedown. Powell pushes Cooper against the cage but Cooper circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cooper lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Powell has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Powell and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
