Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Harville (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferguson has chosen Fabolous - My Time as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Harville!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kevin Ferguson!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ferguson clinches up with Harville and pushes him back against the cage.
Harville misses with an elbow over the top.

Ferguson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Ferguson shoots in and bounces Harville off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ferguson tries to free his leg and advance position but Harville is retaining full guard.
Harville is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ferguson dives into side control.
Harville seems a little lost for a moment, as Ferguson dominates the positioning.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ferguson stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Harville circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ferguson wants to clinch up but Harville keeps it at a distance.

Ferguson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Harville napping and manages to drive through into side control!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Ferguson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ferguson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Harville tries to buck Ferguson off but Ferguson is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ferguson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Harville will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Harville is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Harville really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ferguson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Ferguson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Harville will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Ferguson decides to stand back up.
Ferguson misses with a takedown attempt - Harville sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Harville blocks a head kick by Ferguson.
Harville has his takedown stuffed

and Ferguson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ferguson.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kevin Ferguson dominated that round.
That's time! Harville's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Ferguson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Harville!
Ferguson controlling the pace for now.
Harville is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Ferguson is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
James Harville is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ferguson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Harville displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.


It looks like Kevin Ferguson has been cut.
Harville will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Harville lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ferguson backs up against the cage.

Ferguson tries for a takedown but Harville sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Ferguson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ferguson is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Harville is looking to control Ferguson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Harville avoid being mounted?
Ferguson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Ferguson slows the pace down in half guard.

Ferguson is trying for a kimura here. Harville looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Ferguson wins by kimura!
