Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Horace Oxface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bertrand Russell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oxface kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Immigraniada by Gogol Bordello. Russell has chosen No Easy Way Out as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oxface drops his hands momentarily and Russell takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Oxface takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Russell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Russell moves into range and connects with a jab.
Oxface shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Russell as he avoids it easily.
Russell looks to throw the jab but Oxface is out of range.

Oxface is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Russell's half guard.

Oxface wants to pass to mount but Russell is defending the position.

Oxface is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Russell is just riding it out for now. Oxface eventually gives up the hold.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Russell can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Oxface is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Russell defends it well.
Russell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Oxface. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Oxface is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Oxface looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
