Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Dollar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Lee!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dollar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lee somewhat.
Lee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dollar avoids it really well and circles away.

Dollar drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dollar won't allow Lee to get back to his feet.
Dollar cracks Lee with a solid left hand.
Lee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dollar is one step ahead there.
Dollar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Dollar lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Lee is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Dollar wants to finish this one by submission but Lee is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Dollar.

Lee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Dollar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dollar.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Lee throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Lee throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Dollar gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Dollar is fighting off a takedown attempt but Lee is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dollar to the mat. Dollar regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Dollar keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lee's head.

Dollar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dollar has managed to get both his arms back between Lee's legs - danger averted.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Dollar counters with a shoot takedown. Lee fights it but they end up in guard.

Dollar is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lee sees it coming and defends easily.

Lee had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dollar defends it easily.

Dollar is looking to advance position but Lee has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Dollar on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dollar tries to get out of the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ross Dollar showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Dollar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
