Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don Piano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alan Kreutz! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Steve Montenegro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Piano. Kreutz does a little dance to reset his feet. Piano connects with a looping right hand.
Kreutz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Piano takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Don Piano has been cut. Kreutz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Piano. Kreutz takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Alan Kreutz has been cut. A punch combination from Piano misses. A slow jab from Piano misses its intended target. Piano misses with a two punch combination.
Kreutz throws a right and a left that both miss. Piano misses the jab. Piano works Kreutz's body with a nice hook. Kreutz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Piano throws out the jab. Kreutz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kreutz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kreutz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kreutz tries to move into range but Piano moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kreutz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Piano throws out the jab. Piano scores with a jab. Kreutz acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Kreutz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Piano tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kreutz was well out of range. Poor timing from Piano. Don Piano is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Piano throws a combination that misses and Kreutz counters with a two punch combo. Kreutz dodges the punch combination from Piano.
Piano lands with a nice body punch. Piano scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Kreutz looks gassed! Piano throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kreutz counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Don Piano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Piano misses with a wild combination.
Piano lands a right hook to the body.
Kreutz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Piano scores with a body shot.

Piano digs a good hook to Kreutz's body.
Piano lands a slapping body shot.
Piano cracks Kreutz with an open hand slap. Piano misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kreutz.
Piano missing with a left hand there. Kreutz was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kreutz looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Piano lands a head shot. The fighters circle momentarily. Piano darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
That has opened up Alan Kreutz's cut even more. Piano stuns Kreutz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Jab by Piano. Piano lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Piano connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kreutz. Kreutz circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Kreutz is rocked! Piano wants to clinch up but Kreutz keeps it at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Piano scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Piano catches Kreutz with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Piano is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Piano closes the distance and lands a one-two. Kreutz is still on wobbly legs! Can Piano finish him? Nice straight punches there by Piano. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Piano.
The cut above Alan Kreutz's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Kreutz moves forwards but Piano connects with a nice, crisp jab. Piano scores with a hook. Piano cracks Kreutz with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Kreutz tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Piano pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Kreutz is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Don Piano!
