Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Cosmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Doucet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cosmo comes into the arena with Sevent -- Hurt (NIN Cover) blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cosmo shoots in and drives through. Doucet sprawls well.
Doucet stuffs the takedown attempt from Cosmo. Cosmo gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Cosmo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Doucet escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cosmo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Doucet can do anything to dispel that myth.

Cosmo is fighting off a takedown attempt but Doucet is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Cosmo to the mat. Cosmo regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Doucet is breathing heavily.

Crunch! Cosmo slams his shin into Doucet's torso.
Cosmo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Doucet tries to avoid it but Cosmo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Doucet to the ground. Doucet escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A head kick by Cosmo - that's a beauty! Doucet is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Cosmo can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
