Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gregory Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aidan Marley!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Marley's waist but Marley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.
Silva misses the jab.
Marley stuffs the takedown.
Silva shoots in but Marley avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gregory Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva throws a leg kick but Marley sees it coming and checks it nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Marley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Marley tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Silva counters with a thumping low kick.
A good leg kick by Silva.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Marley as he jumps to the side.
Marley closes the distance and clinches.
Silva pulls guard.
Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Marley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Marley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Silva throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Marley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Marley working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Marley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marley has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted.

Marley chips away with some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marley is sitting in close to Silva's body. Silva has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Marley is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Marley is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Silva.
