Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Trusdale on that attempt.
Jones misses with a two punch combination.
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Trusdale.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Trusdale moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Trusdale jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Trusdale gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Trusdale throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Trusdale off to one side.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jones crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Trusdale - the referee stops the clock and Jones gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Trusdale. Jones manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
