Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alen Zalac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Qp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alen Zalac! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Qp! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zalac throws a head kick that misses. Qp looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Zalac is looking to clinch. Nice takedown defense from Qp. No joy for Zalac on that attempt. Zalac keeps the fight on the outside. Qp circles away from the clinch attempt and Qp holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Zalac pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Zalac looks to clinch and Qp counters by clinching up. Zalac jumps guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zalac is looking to stand up but Qp isn't so interested in that idea. Qp trying to control the position from guard on top but Zalac is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Zalac is trying to hold Qp in close to prevent damage but Qp has managed to pass into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zalac is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Zalac is looking to control Qp's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zalac avoid being mounted? Zalac flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Zalac moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Zalac wants to get back to his feet but Qp is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Qp looks to land a left hand but Zalac moved out of range nicely. Qp is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Zalac takes the fight into the clinch. Qp can't break the clinch.

Zalac is trying to break the clinch but Qp is controlling him. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Zalac tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Qp just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alen Zalac. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zalac has had enough of the clinch but Qp keeps him there for the moment. Zalac is trying to break the clinch but Qp has him pressed against the cage. Zalac tries to circle away but Qp has him pinned against the cage. Qp is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Qp trying to control the position but instead, Zalac has worked for underhooks and has pushed Qp into the cage. Qp keeps control of Zalac as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Qp on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Zalac tries to break free but Qp pushes him back against the cage. Zalac drags the fight down to the ground.

Qp takes a shot right to the bread basket. Zalac throws a head kick that half lands.
The fight stays on the outside here - Zalac looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Zalac tries to close the distance and clinch up but Qp swats him away and circles back towards the center. Zalac misses with a head kick.

Alen Zalac dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Qp walks forward, straight into a front kick from Zalac. Zalac closes the distance but Qp moves to the side and Qp counters with a nice uppercut. Zalac gets a clinch. Still in the clinch, Zalac scores with a nice short uppercut. Zalac tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Zalac changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Qp fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Nice straight punches there by Zalac. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Zalac. Zalac works over Qp's head and body with a nice combination. Zalac drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Qp working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Zalac.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zalac stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Qp swivels though and keeps the full guard. Qp keeping moving, preventing Zalac from controlling successfully. Zalac wants to get up but he can't break Qp's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Qp keeping full guard, as Zalac tries to pass. Zalac tries to stand but Qp is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Zalac drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Qp dives on top into guard. Zalac wants to get back to his feet but Qp is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Zalac might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Zalac wants to sweep here but Qp controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Qp gets to his feet - Zalac follows without any prompting. Qp fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Zalac, pushing him back against the cage. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Qp in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Qp wants a takedown but no success here.
A frustrated look appears on Zalac's face as he tries to break the clinch. Zalac lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Qp is pressed up against the cage. Zalac has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Qp down to the mat. Qp avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alen Zalac. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zalac clinches but Qp breaks the clinch and Qp counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Qp. Qp tries to pull guard but Zalac won't allow it.

Zalac pulls guard effortlessly. Qpis looking to pass into half guard but Zalac pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Zalac is in guard. Zalac wants to stand but Qp has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Zalac drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Qp manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Zalac has Qp in his guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zalac throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Qp. Zalac is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Qp's half guard. Zalac lands strikes from half guard. Zalac is keen to just control but Qp is a slippery customer. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Zalac stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Zalac has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Zalac tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Qp just stands there and leans against the cage. Zalac wants to break free but Qp has control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Zalac is trying to break the clinch but Qp has him pressed against the cage. Qp wants the takedown. Zalac is fighting it off but Qp persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Zalac's guard against the cage. Zalac is wriggling around but Qp manages to pass to half guard.

Zalac displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Qp throws out the jab. Zalac tries to close the distance and clinch but Qp swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Zalac ducks under a wild hook from Qp. Nice cross by Zalac.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Qp tries to clinch but fails miserably and Zalac counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Zalac. Zalac is trying to break the clinch but Qp has him pressed against the cage. Zalac stops a takedown attempt from Qp.

Qp has hold of one of Zalac's legs. Zalac is fighting the takedown attempt but Qp gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Zalac can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Qp controls the pace. Zalac keeping full guard, as Qp tries to pass. Zalac is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zalac managing to control the position. Zalac can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Qp controls the pace. Zalac keeping moving, preventing Qp from controlling successfully. Ken Qp has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Alen Zalac is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Zalac is trying to control the position but Qp postures up.
