Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gray Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caidal Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter comes to the cage accompanied by Dream Theater - Pull Me Under. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gray Hunter! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Caidal Cain! The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunter bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Caidal Cain has been cut. Cain misses with a takedown attempt - Hunter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hunter tries to clinch up but Cain circles away and keeps his distance. Hunter rushes Cain and presses him up against the cage. Hunter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hunter tries to clinch up. Cain slips a jab from Hunter. Hunter misses with a wild body shot. Hunter throws a right hand that Cain ducks under and follows up with a left that Cain also avoids with ease. Hunter is looking to clinch. Hunter looks to throw the jab but Cain is out of range. Cain shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hunter napping and manages to drive through into side control! Hunter takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Cain tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hunter gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Hunter regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cain is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Cain won't allow Hunter to sweep him here. Hunter looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Cain is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hunter is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hunter has escaped and now he's on top! Cain throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunter wants to control from the top but Cain keeps moving. Hunter drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cain manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hunter has Cain in his guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hunter is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cain is aware though and is defending well. Cain has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hunter is breathing heavily. Cain wants to pass the guard but Hunter is keeping the position. Hunter looking for a guillotine here but Cain defends easily.

Cain is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hunter sees it coming and defends easily. Hunter wants to control but Cain is keeping busy and won't allow it. Cain trying to pass the guard but Hunter defending well. Cain has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Hunter is looking to get to half guard. Cain working for a guillotine from mount but Hunter is in no mood to give up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gray Hunter will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Caidal Cain's cut. That's time! Back to the action!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cain changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hunter tries to avoid it but Cain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hunter to the ground. Hunter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hunter rushes Cain and presses him up against the cage. Hunter lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Cain backwards. Cain decides to pull guard. Hunter advances to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cain looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Hunter looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hunter controlling the pace. Hunter's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Hunter is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Cain! Hunter looking to control and managing it successfully. Cain is desperately trying to improve his position but Hunter has a good base and remains in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter working for a guillotine from mount but Cain is in no mood to give up. Cain is looking to improve his position but Hunter isn't that keen on the idea. Hunter content just to control the position here. Cain defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hunter.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hunter has hold of Cain's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cain manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hunter trying to control but Cain is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cain closes the distance and clinches up with Hunter, looking for a takedown. Cain pushes Hunter against the cage but Hunter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Cain circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's going to sap some energy. Gray Hunter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caidal Cain. Cain tries to clinch there but Hunter circles away.

Cain passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Hunter! Hunter manages to regain half guard. Good work. Hunter gets back to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cain prevents Hunter from improving his position. Cain is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hunter has managed to free his arm - good work. Hunter gets back to full guard.

Hunter is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Cain dives in and grabs Hunter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hunter pushes down on Cain's head and hops out. Cain shoots in looking for a takedown. Hunter tries to sprawl out of it but Cain keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hunter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hunter closes the distance and pushes Cain back into the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunter just leaning against Cain, taking a breather. Hunter lands with a right to the head. Cain is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted. Hunter lands with a short punch from the clinch.

He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Hunter is trying to escape the mount.

Cain is trying to stick to Hunter's back but Hunter is turning into Cain. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cain's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hunter.

It looks like he's just sitting there. Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

The fight is ruled a draw! Gray Hunter retains his title. It's always disappointing when a championship fight ends as a draw but that's what happens when you leave the fight in the judges hands!
