Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryan Riddles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jay ar Ginebra!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddles throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ginebra.
Riddles drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ground and pound from Riddles seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Ginebra is looking for a sweep.
Ginebra dodges the ground and pound from Riddles.
Riddles stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Ginebra throws a combination that misses
and Riddles counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Ginebra is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Ginebra is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Riddles counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Riddles is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Ginebra throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
