Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darren Ako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bare Knuckles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ako uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Knuckles.
Knuckles looks to land a combination but Ako avoids it well.
Ako throws a combination. Knuckles tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Ako drives through and clinches with Knuckles against the cage.
Knuckles wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Ako has Knuckles pressed against the cage.
Ako turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ako manages to end up in side control.
Ako is looking to take a break and control but Knuckles is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Knuckles avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Ako shoots for a double leg takedown but Knuckles sprawls well. He's pushed Ako's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Knuckles wants to stand and escape but Ako is having none of it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Ako doesn't manage to clinch there - Knuckles circles away.

Knuckles is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Knuckles lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ako circles away quickly and effectively.
Ako moves away from the strike by Knuckles.
Knuckles throws a big shot that misses.

Ako defending well as Knuckles loads up on a big left hand.
Ako looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Knuckles is fending him off so far but Ako persists. Nope, Knuckles circles away and we're back to standing.

Knuckles throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Knuckles throws out a loose jab but Ako uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ako blocks a jab.
Knuckles drops Ako with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ako looks back up at him and smiles so Knuckles waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Ako is rocked!
It looks like Darren Ako has been cut.
Darren Ako seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ako moves out of range of the strikes.
Knuckles throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ako fails with an attempt to clinch.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Knuckles has cracked Ako with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Knuckles lands another huge swinging hook and Ako tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Ako, before Knuckles can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bare Knuckles!
