Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tanaka Shidoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonyong Bayawak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shidoshi looks to land a left hand but Bayawak moved out of range nicely.
Bayawak takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bayawak tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Shidoshi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Shidoshi connects with a nice short shot to Bayawak's temple.

Bayawak is looking to get back to is feet but Shidoshi passes into side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
