The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Connor but Connor pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Connor throws the left hand but Jones avoids the punch easily.
Connor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jones shoots in but Connor avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt - Connor sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Connor sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jones wants to clinch.
Connor defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jones.

Connor cracks Jones on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Jones falls backwards against the cage. Connor follows up with more strikes that drop Jones to his knees. Connor keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Jones! This one is all over!
