Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tau Fang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paul Waul!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waul looks to score with a jab to the body but Fang is just out of range.
Waul tries to clinch up but Fang circles away and keeps his distance.
Waul swinging wildly here.
Fang moves out of range of the strikes.
Fang looks to score with a jab to the body but Waul is just out of range.
Fang misses with a body shot.
Fang takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Waul throws a shot to the body.
Waul throws a hook but Fang avoids it easily.
Fang takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Fang is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fang throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Waul.
Waul misses with a hook. Fang ducked under it nicely.
A combination from Waul does no damage.
Fang uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Waul has time to react.
The crowd cheers as Waul lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fang doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Tau Fang has been cut.

Waul drops his shoulder and cracks Fang with a huge uppercut! Fang goes down! Can Waul finish him?

Fang is rocked!

Waul drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Waul jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Oh Fang is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Waul is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Waul throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Fang seems to have got his legs back now.
Fang keeping full guard, as Waul tries to pass.
Waul won't allow Fang to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Waul trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Waul has gone for a leg lock! Fang slips out almost immediately though and dives into Waul's guard.

Fang is sitting in close to Waul's body. Waul has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Fang is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Fang is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Waul.
